Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Open the Target Job Card

Log into the mobile app or office dashboard. Open the target job record (e.g., /jobs/view/{id}).

Navigate to Documents & Photos

Click the Documents & Photos tab. Here you will see a grid of all images and files linked to the job.

Upload Media Files

Drag and drop files from your desktop or tap Upload File. On mobile, choose 'Take Photo' to open your camera.

Apply Asset Classification Tags

Select classification tags for the uploaded files to organize search directories.

Pin to Customer Gallery

For photos you want to show the client, check the Pin to Customer Portal Gallery checkbox.

Validation Rules

To keep operations reliable, Service Opus enforces the following rules for this workflow:

  • File Format Restrictions: Supported file formats are JPEG, PNG, PDF, and HEIC.
  • File Size Limits: The maximum file upload size is 15MB.
Important Rule
Photos pinned to the customer portal are immediately viewable by the client. Ensure notes and descriptions are professional before pinning.
