What good looks like
Clear, labeled job media connected to the correct record and safe to share with the intended audience.
Have these details ready
- The correct job and service site
- Customer permission and company media policy
- A clean lens and enough light to show the condition
Run the workflow
-
Confirm the record
Open the exact job before taking or uploading media. Avoid capturing several customers' work in an unassigned phone gallery.
-
Capture context first
Take a wide photo showing location, then close photos for detail. Include labels or measuring references when useful.
-
Cover the work sequence
Record relevant before conditions, concealed or in-progress work, nameplates/readings, and finished work without unnecessary personal information.
-
Name and tag files
Use descriptions such as Before—north condenser disconnect rather than Image 1042. Set category, visibility, and customer-sharing status accurately.
-
Verify the upload
Open thumbnails, confirm orientation and legibility, remove accidental duplicates, and ensure critical proof appears in closeout.
Check your work
Do not call the workflow complete until these statements are true.
- Photos open from the correct job
- Descriptions identify location and purpose
- Customer-visible media contains no internal or sensitive information
If something does not look right
A photo uploaded to the wrong job
Correct or remove it immediately using authorized controls and verify history; do not leave another customer's media attached.
The upload is pending offline
Keep the local item intact until sync completes, then verify it from the job before deleting the device copy.
